An arrangement by Lance Eccles for Recorder Quartet - SATB of Three Gregorian Melodies.

These are based on three hymns from the mediaeval repertoire of ecclesiasical chant.

Ecce panis angelorum (Bread of Angels) is a stanza from a long hymn, Sion, Praise your Saviour.

The Kyrie (Lord have Mercy) is a 15th-century melody for the Mass.

Ad regias agni dapes (To the Royal Feast of the Lamb) is an Easter hymn. This setting largely follows the constantly changing rhythms of the original. - Lance Eccles
