Alicia Crossley is one of Australia’s leading recorder players. She performs a wide variety of repertoire from renaissance dance tunes to contemporary electro-acoustic works with a particular interest in bass recorder repertoire. Alicia is a passionate supporter of contemporary Australian recorder repertoire and has collaborated with a number of Australian composers.

CD Recording: Sonatas of 17th century Italy performed by Capella Corelli. A glimpse into the rich world of instrumental music in seventeenth-century Italy from the experimental works of Cima, Castello, Montalbano, Fontana, Frescobaldi, Marini and Uccellini to Corelli.

Benjamin Thorn and Wayne Madden present a journey through 600 years of music on the theme of love. You'll find rarely heard works by Barbara Strozzi and Francesca Caccini as well as the more familiar music of Telemann and Ortiz.

ECM recording artist and Carmo Records founder Egberto Gismonti was astonished, but also very pleased, to receive in 1998 an album by the unorthodox Melbourne-based duo of Rodney Waterman and Doug de Vries: “I’m still surprised by the instrumentation,” Gismonti confessed. “I didn’t expect to hear this much music from recorder and guitar!” Recorder: Rodney Waterman.
