Contemplation for tenor recorder and piano was first performed by John Turner (recorder) and Keith Swallow (piano) at Flixton House, Trafford on 21st September 2006.

Composer Anthony Hedges was born in Oxfordshire, UK in 1931 & studied music at Oxford University. Later he joined the staff of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music as a Lecturer. he has worked as a composer and in musical administration over many decades.
