Description

Cherrywood Tenor, Baroque double holes.

European cherrywood is a very attractive wood due to its warm colour and interesting grain. It has wonderful tonal properties and while playing your fingers can literally feel the resonance of the instrument. Because it is the lightest of recorder woods, cherrywood is particularly suited for use in larger recorders.

The Knick headjoint reduces the stretch necessary to reach the finger holes, especially for the right hand. It also brings the instrument closer to the body, again reducing the amount of stretch needed to reach the finger holes.

Denner - A wealth of sound from fine woods. A sophisticated ensemble based on original instruments by Jacob Denner (1681-1735) in Nuremberg and Copenhagen.

Brilliant, expressive sound with a convincing charm. Agile, quick response in all octaves: ideal for virtuosic music of any era. Undercut finger holes: discover the particularly stable sounds of these instruments.

Visually impressive: finely crafted ornamental rings and a surface pleasingly finished with oil. Baroque fingering, A' = 442 Hz.

Purchased parts package:
* Instrument
* Cotton bag with leather trim
* Cleaning rod wood
* Joint grease
* Fingering chart
* Maintenance instructions

All instruments dispatched by Orpheus Music are automatically insured for their full value at no extra cost to the customer.
