*Seven Renaissance Pieces.* The intradas in the Posch collection are well constructed mimniatures which develop short motives in a variety of satisfying ways. Some are elaborate with divisions in the top part which can really only be played on the violin. In this selection, the pieces chosen are written in a more neutral instrumental style. The musical relationship between the intrada and the couranta varies from piece to piece.
