La Follia has been one of themost inspiring harmonic patterns in musical history. Many composer and musicians from the 16th and the 18th centur wrote and played improvisations on it. This practice has been continued by La Fontegara Amsterdam. We have made our own selection of variations on La Follia by Corelli, Marais and Scarlatti, adding own variations and adapting it for three baroque alto recorders.
