OMP057 Justo Diaz Latin American Songs
This arrangement of twelve Latin American folk songs will find room on a great many recorder players' shelves. Each song has been carefully and sensitively transcribed for recorder quartet by Justo Diaz.
The lively Diablada will get, and keep, toes tapping, whilst Funeral del Topa Inca provides a strong contrast, as well as a beautiful tune for the tenor. Most of the parts fit well onto recorders, although Vasija de Barro is very high for the soprano and would be far more comfortable on an alto.
Good tunes, creative and varied arrangements, interest for all players; I can hardly wait to take this to school for my pupils to enjoy. Highly recommended.
