Benjamin Thorn is a composer and recorder player based in Armidale, NSW, Australia. he has written for a wide range of instrumental and vocal combinations but has gained greatest recognition for his recorder music. His music ranges from folk inspired pieces to avant-garde explorations of extended instrumental techniques.
His music has been published in Australia, Germany, Canada and the USA and features on exam syllabuses around the world, He is currently the music editor of Orpheus Music.
