This CD includes pieces by Nicola Fiorenza, Niel Gow, Mozart, Domenico Scarlatti, Francesco Mancini, Johann Christian Schickhardt and Vivaldi. It features many different instruments including baroque violin, harpsichord and the not well-known, csakan. The Csakan came into existence around 1795 and were quite popular among nature-lovers at the time, as they allowed the carrier to entertain themselves on their walks.
