Ian Pillow is a composer known for his viola playing with Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra (BSO), where he worked for nearly 30 years. Since retiring from the BSO, he has focused more on composing, writing choral, orchestral, and chamber music. He has also been the conductor of various orchestras, including the Dorset County Orchestra and the Sherborne Community Orchestra.
