The Pink Tarantula Orpheus Music OMP 274
A charming piece with some tricky elements. The piano part needs a player of good ability. The recorder has a number of accidentals but a player of good moderate ability will be able to perform this well. The phrases are long and will give good breathing practice! The speed is modest and is more reflective than you would associate with spiders, but the pink tarantula is a bird-eating spider of six inches so maybe it doesn’t need to move fast!
